The advocacy aspect of my writing aims to raise awareness of the long-term rehabilitation needs of patients with mobility impairment, paralytic conditions, neurological disorders, and age-related medical conditions.
Medical rehabilitation interventions can include physical, occupational, and speech therapy; functional training; and assistive technology for both acute trauma and ongoing disabilities. In the following articles, I explore various viewpoints on medical rehabilitation.
